Get into the ring and knock out the competition in Contender 2. In this incarnation of the sweet science, you can choose your boxer and enter the ring in either the Main Event or Exhibition modes. In the Exhibition mode, you can challenge a friend or the computer to a single match, while the Main Event mode has you taking an unranked boxer through the rigors of the professional circuit for a shot at the World Championship. There are a number of improvements from the original game, as not only will you find the action much faster, you'll discover the controls have been reworked. Now there are buttons for right and left high punches and right and left low punches, giving you complete control of your fighter's every move. So give yourself a little taste of pugilistic paradise with Contender 2.
